Nikola is getting rusty.

But he has a good enough memory that despite the fact that it's been a good twenty years since he sat down at a piano, he's doing a fairly decent job of making his way through Au Claire de la Lune.

He doesn't play well, but he plays with great expression.

Nikola smirks wickedly. "You could always take me out and show me what you do for fun."

Raya smirks back. "I could." She looks down to check her watch, and thinks for a moment.

"Feel like going out tonight?"

Nikola grins. "I think I could be persuaded."

[x_coriare]

She laughs and gives a little half-expectant, half-curious look. "And what would it take to persuade you?"

He considers this for a moment, just looking at her. "From you, my dear? Just a kiss."

"Just that?"

That's almost too easy. She leans down to tilt his chin up and gives Nikola an almost gentle kiss, full on the lips. She could have called him on not specifying where, and simply placed one on his cheek, but...Raya's been feeling playful of late.

"Well...for now," Nikola murmurs, accepting the kiss graciously. "Do I get to know where we're going, or is it a surprise?"

"Oh, I'd think you could know. There will be other surprises, I'm sure," she murmurs back, straightening up. "There's a club not very far that has an interestingly lax dress code. I sort of like it," she says.

"Nothing really gets started until ten or eleven, so...meet you at the door in twenty?" This, Raya thinks, this could definitely be interesting.

Nikola smirks. 'Interestingly lax' could mean oh, so many things.

"I'll be there."

It really could, and that is the beauty of the situation.

"Oh, good."

Twenty minutes later, she is, true to her word, at the door, in a coat and heels; the heels because she likes them and the coat because it's both a little chilly and the outfit she's actually wearing has this tendency to make people stare rather much. "

Nikola is waiting for her in the front hallway, sporting dark layers over his slim-cut jeans.

He smiles when he sees her. "You'll certainly stand out in that."

"What's under the coat is actually the more fun part," she says with a sly smile. "You look good," she murmurs, stepping back to see all of him at once.

"Very good."

[ps_you_look_hot]

His eyes slide over her from head to toe. "I'm sure it is."

He grins under her scrutiny, turning slowly for her. "I do, don't I?"

She chuckles at his turn and watches him, not particularly minding taking advantage of his showing off. It's why he does it, anyway.

"Yes, you do, and you know it," she says. "Shall we?"

"Of course." He offers her his arm as he heads out the door.

"Such a gentleman," she murmurs with a twist to her mouth as she walks with him.

"I like the jeans look on you." It's still warm enough to warrant undoing her coat some, though even with the topmost buttons undone all she shows is skin, and a little glimpse of black satin.

That glimpse of satin and skin gets a quick glance from Nikola as he leads her to his car (in black of course).

"I don't think I'll be adopting it for everyday, but it's nice for certain occasions."

[ooc: XD car! oh I love that, I've never seen that before.]

"That is almost completely backward to what most of the people I've ever met," she laughs. "So it fits." Raya sees the glance, and decides not to comment, but with a half-smirk to herself the hem of her coat slides up enough to show a slip of her bare thigh above the stockings she's wearing.

By accident, of course.

His eyes follow the slide of her coat as well, and as he opens the door for her, he leans in and murmurs, "I've warned you before about teasing me, my dear. Eventually, I'll want more from you."

She grins at the response. "So you have..." she murmurs. "Eventually I might give it. You didn't think I liked you just for your sparkling personality, did you?"

[ps_you_look_hot]

"I suspected there might be more to it." He closes the door once she's seated and goes around the car to get in the driver's side.

"You're a smart boy."

She smiles a little softer when he climbs in, brushing one fingertip over his cheek. "Who knows what mood we'll both be in by the time the night's over..."

He smirks over at her as he starts the car. "I have a pretty good idea what sort of mood I'll be in."

There's no sound of an engine turning over as he turns the key, no rumble of an engine, just a soft click.

"Mmm. I bet you do," she murmurs, with a curious headtilt at the click.

"Did you build this?"

[ps_you_look_hot]

"Sadly, no, but it was...built in my honor, I suppose you could say."

As he pulls out of the drive, noises that are not readily apparent in most car rides can be heard without the white noise of the engine to drown them out.
