Nikola is getting rusty.

But he has a good enough memory that despite the fact that it's been a good twenty years since he sat down at a piano, he's doing a fairly decent job of making his way through Au Claire de la Lune.

He doesn't play well, but he plays with great expression.

"Well, not for the first time, anyway," Nikola says, smirking as he opens the door to his room.

"In that case I'll let you know, I've been told I don't tend to hold still very well," she smirks back.

Nikola leads her into the bedroom, shuts the door, and pulls her close. "Even better."

Raya chuckles at being pulled against him, and loops her arms around the back of his neck, tilting her head back to look up at Nikola better and exposing her throat. She likes what he can do there.

"I seem to remember something like this," she says, rising up on her toes to catch his lips with her own. "Just like deja vu,"

"Hopefully, this will turn out a little differently," Nikola murmurs, kissing her deeply.

"Hopefully," she echoes, letting him take control and lazily kissing back. There's no point in denying she likes this, and Nikola tastes...well, right now, like a mix of alcohol and the sugary taste still left on her own tongue.

"I think," she murmurs, pulling away just enough to speak, that one or both of us might be wearing a few too many clothes." She isn't impatient to be unclothed, but getting to watch Nikola strip is entertaining.

"One or both?" Nikola murmurs, dipping his head to drag his lips over her neck. "I think I agree."

Raya laughs, and then almost purrs at the feel of Nikola's lips on her skin, curling her fingers around the back of his neck. "Well you're certainly wearing more than I am."

He chuckles softly, the sound vibrating against her skin. "So I suppose it's only fair I lose a few layers." He pulls back with a soft burst of electricity and unbuttons his jacket.

"Something like that," she laughs, letting the electric burst take her in a shudder as it dissipates. "I like it when you do that," Raya murmurs, peeling off her gloves and coat as he takes the jacket off.

"Should we strip by turns, then?"

"Mm...I don't know," Nikola says, watching her with interest. "I rather like that outfit on you."

"I'd thought you would," Raya laughs. "It's very comfortable, so by all means, if you'd like me to keep it on..."

There's yet another jacket under the first, and Nikola takes his time getting it off. "By all means. It creates a nice aesthetic."

"I almost don't want you to explain what you mean by nice aesthetic," she chuckles, leaning back on one hip against the door. "Though I'll take it as a compliment anyway. It's actually less revealing than some things I've worn," she says lightly.

Raya will leave the imagining of that outfit entirely to Nikola.

Nikola arches an eyebrow at that revelation. "Sometimes it's better to be a little more covered."

His shirt comes next, but he leaves the jeans on for the moment, sitting low on his hips.

She chuckles at the expression, and watches him undress, liking very much the way the jeans sit well below his waist. "Well, now. What would you have me take off?"

She doesn't particularly elaborate on what they were all wearing, since at the time it had been undeniably awkward for her to walk around in what effectively was heels and underclothes that covered far less than what she was wearing now.

Nikola sits on the bed to take off his shoes and regards her for a moment, considering his options. "Just the skirt for now, I think."

"Should have seen that coming," she murmurs, but reaches back to undo the little row of buttons that holds the top band of fabric closed, pushing it down off her hips and stepping out of it gracefully, though one loose piece of her hair falls over her collarbone when Raya bends to drop it where the rest of her clothes are.

She's still mostly covered--in a manner of speaking--but where she does show skin is certainly risque. "I like the way you look in nothing but jeans. Very sexy," she remarks.

He smirks at her and leans back on his hands. "You look rather enticing yourself, my dear."

"That was rather the point," she says. "I have the faint clue getting out of this will end up taking longer than getting into it took..."

Raya doesn't say anything about cheating to get into it. Ah, the benefits of not necessarily having to stay in one shape.

"All the more reason to keep most of it on," Nikola says, holding out an arm for her in clear invitation to join him on the bed.

She takes his hand, and moves to sit in front of him, one knee bent under her as she settles, leaning sideways on one arm. "Which part doesn't stay on?"

Raya asks, even if she already knows, sliding to rest on her side, arm raised to support her head as the other brushes over Nikola's denim-clad hip, liking the way it looks and feels.

Nikola grins as he stretches out next to her. "For practicality's sake, the panties have got to go." He trails cool fingers over her belly, just below the hem of her top.

She laughs because his fingers tickle right there, and cause her to curl in just enough to make a little noise, moving the blanket as she does.

"Oh, just for practicality, of course," she murmurs, slipping her fingers underneath the strings around her hips; she's worn stockings and garters before, and has enough sense to put them on underneath panties to facilitate actually being able to take them off. Just for the hell of it the rosette choker around her throat gets unfastened too, and tossed aside.

"Of course." Nikola's hand slides slowly along her hip, his thumb brushing over the bone. He leans in to kiss her slowly, letting his fingers explore her exposed skin.
