Nikola is getting rusty.

But he has a good enough memory that despite the fact that it's been a good twenty years since he sat down at a piano, he's doing a fairly decent job of making his way through Au Claire de la Lune.

He doesn't play well, but he plays with great expression.

Nikola smirks. "Glad you approve."

Not that it would matter if she didn't. Very hard to dent his ego.

She isn't particularly interested in denting his ego; she might play with him, but there's nothing in it for her. "Mmm. I do like it," she murmurs, amused. "And out of curiosity, what do you think of mine?"

"I've yet to find anything wrong with it."

"From you I'll take that as a compliment," she says with a laugh.

[ps_you_look_hot]

"As well you should," Nikola murmurs, his fingers trailing across her skin. "I have excellent taste in women."

She chuckles and moves into the touch of fingers on her body. "You really do," she murmured, stretching. "Indulge my curiosity for a moment. What do you enjoy in bed?"

Nikola laughs quietly. "It would be quicker to tell you what I don't enjoy."

"Oh, really?"

This could get interesting fast. As if it hasn't already. "By all means, educate me."

"I don't like anything dealing with bodily waste or dead bodies," he says. "And I don't like being constrained."

"Well that's reassuring..." she says, nodding to the first two. She doesn't like being tied up either, so she can certainly understand the sentiment.

"Why don't you like being tied up?"

"I don't like giving that much control to another person."

[x_coriare]

She nods. "I get that..." she murmurs.

[ps_you_look_hot]

"A common trait amongst people used to being hunted, I'm sure.

[x_coriare]

She cocks her head, with a little smile. "I've never been hunted."

[ps_you_look_hot]

"Really?" He cocks his head. "I was under the impression there were those in your world who don't like your kind very much. Was I wrong?"

[x_coriare]

"Not about that. I've been attacked, kidnapped, enslaved, and killed a few times, but never hunted. I don't like, as a rule, running."

And that much was true; she'd gotten word she was the target of the Purifiers' mission and had met them on their turf, rather than bring the rest of the school into it. "But no, you are completely right that there are people in my world who don't like us."

"You don't like running?" He grins. "I love it."

Of course, he prefers to be the one doing the chasing.

"At your trouble, or away from it?" she chuckles.

[ps_you_look_hot]

Still grinning. "At it, of course."

She only laughs, and shakes her head.

"You would be a good opponent. A bad enemy, but a good opponent."

"You like to think a lot of things. Doesn't make them true."

"Most of the things I think are true."

"Could test that. What are you thinking now?"

The conversation lightens her mood considerably; if this is how sex with Nikola always works, she'll have to try it more often. Raya doubts she'll get any disapproval from Nikola over that.

Not a bit of disapproval is forthcoming. "I'm thinking it's getting late, and despite the beautiful young woman in my bed, it would probably be a good idea to get some sleep at some point."
