OFA: Mistletoe gets *everywhere*

Nikola may not be as observant as James is, but he's by no means oblivious.

That said, he is kind of enthralled by this whole zombie project (that he's continued working on despite his argument with Owen. Damn it for being so fascinating). As such, he's completely failed to notice the sprig of mistletoe the Big Guy managed to put up in his lab.

When he finds out the creep in the room with the hair has been poking about in his lab, he'll probably be irate, but in the meantime...this could be fun?

So it's Christmas, and that means even vampires need mildly scruffy kisses on the cheek. He's been training and Henry can't help wondering if he just might have the reflexes to get the vamp.

"Hey, Count, I'm doing a parts order if you need anything," he starts cheerfully.

Nikola doesn't even glance up, though he does smile to himself a little at the 'Count.' "There's a list by the door."

Henry grabs the list and walks over to Tesla as he reads it over. "You really need four of these?" he points at an item. "I thought I just had two in storage."

"That's why I need four more," Nikola says, smirking slightly.

Henry shakes his head, scrolling down the list until he hits something that makes his eyebrows shoot up.

"You want this?" he asks, dumbfounded. "You know I have to use military connections to get this."

Nikola smirks. "Well, if it's too difficult for you..."

"Don't strain your little doggy brain?" Henry jokes, taking a step closer. "I know learning 'sit, stay' was complicated, but surely you can order a few simple things over the telephone? Maybe Magnus should get a new dog? You've obviously learned the limit of your tricks?"

"I could," Nikola says, actually smiling this time. "But I wouldn't want to take away your livelihood."

"You're too kind," Henry mocks a groan. He's this close, which is enough, if he's quick. "I have to admit, your lists are at least neatly organised. Watson writes things down as they pop into his head and Magnus is always emailing me at the last minute with something she absolutely must have, right now."

That'd be the OCD showing through.

"So demanding, isn't she?"

OCD is frequently easier for computer guys to work with. They at least understand the importance of perfection. Henry gives him a 'she doesn't pay me enough for this, but what else would I do?' look. "I might get a server upgrade for Christmas," he shrugs. "Maybe."

"Well, I suppose that might begin to make up for the long hours," Nikola says.

He can understand being willing to put up with a lot for new equipment.

"Well, you know," Henry shrugs, moving close to quickly and innocently kiss Nikola's cheek.

"Anything for the good toys." He grins. "And Merry Christmas."

Nikola makes a somewhat startled face at the kiss. "I didn't realize you swung that way, Wolfgang."

Yeah, still hasn't noticed the mistletoe.

"Must be too much egg nog," Henry jokes, a little amused. "I'll gift wrap your supplies," he smirks, grabbing his list. "I have this great teddy bear paper for Will, but I think you should really get the one that says has 'naughty' all over it."

Nikola chuckles in spite of himself. "I really thing Santa likes my kind of naughty."

Henry's thoughts went to dark places, and he chuckles as he heads for the door. "I'll bet he does, just don't let the reindeer watch."

"Even I don't swing that way," Nikola says with a smirk as he turns back to his project.
