OFA: Mistletoe gets *everywhere*

Nikola may not be as observant as James is, but he's by no means oblivious.

That said, he is kind of enthralled by this whole zombie project (that he's continued working on despite his argument with Owen. Damn it for being so fascinating). As such, he's completely failed to notice the sprig of mistletoe the Big Guy managed to put up in his lab.

When he finds out the creep in the room with the hair has been poking about in his lab, he'll probably be irate, but in the meantime...this could be fun?

She smirks back. "Are you turning me down?"

He arches an eyebrow. "I haven't decided yet."

"Oh?" She raises a brow to mirror his questioning expression, but has yet to move away.

"As I recall, our last encounter didn't go well for you. Are you so sure you want a repeat?"

"Why do you think it didn't end well? It was just sex."

[ps_you_look_hot]

"Did you enjoy it?"

Her first thought is to ask how that matters to him, since she's fairly sure it really doesn't. "For the most part, yes."

Nikola regards her carefully for a moment. "I have to finish this first," he says, indicating his work.

She takes a step back and moves to sit across the table from him. "No rush."

Nikola smirks and shakes his head, turning back to his work.

She only chuckles, and rests her elbows on the table edge. She can be patient.

Nikola may possibly get completely caught up in his work and forget she's there...

Raya still has a little sprig of the plant that she picked up from the hall, and lays it down next to his arm, bending to kiss his cheek, before leaving.

"Come find me when you're done."
