[One for All] Nocturnal wanderings

The Sanctuary is a lovely place, really. Libraries and labs and gardens and excellent company.

But sometimes Nikola needs a little space. Or just to unwind for a bit.

So tonight, you'll find him sitting in a corner booth at a local bar, expensive scotch in hand, observing the room.

"Eh sorry dude, not my kind of thing. But if you want I'm always up for a drink." He doesn't show it, but he is really quite flattered by the offer.

Nikola slides off his stool. "You know, I'm really not looking for a drinking buddy, strangely enough."

"Hey didn't mean to offend, and if you're looking for a good time I know a few people who would be really into the idea."

He offers another friendly smile,and brings out the Scotch again, "It's on the house, if you want?"

"Thanks, but no. I prefer to find my own fun," Nikola says.

"And I'm really not looking for a drinking buddy."


He doesn't exactly do the whole 'friends' thing.

He shrugs feeling kind of bad, he knows Nikola is drifting way; so he replies with a contrite to the the point apology. " I'm sorry, how can I make it up to you?"

Nikola shrugs. "It's fine. I made a pass, you weren't interested. It happens." Not often, but it does.

He smiles, "Alright man, if you just want to drink I wont bother you, I'm back on that clock."

"In that case, I'll take you up on that refill," Nikola says, nudging his empty glass forward.

Leo looks around and when he is satisfied that not too many people are looking he vaults over the bar, He smiles when he feet hit the ground.

Turning to the liquor selection, he smiles. "Single-malt right?"

"Lagavulin, if you've got it," Nikola says.

It takes him a moment to find the stuff, he dusts off the bottle and grins,
it's perfectly aged at 21 years.
"Told you this place was classy."

"It's not a complete waste of time," Nikola agrees.

As he nods another customer catches his attention, "I'll be right back man."

"Take your time," Nikola says, picking up his scotch and sipping it slowly.

Leo walks back to the bar and effortlessly prepares an Apple-tini, and waves down the shy woman who ordered it,with an adorable grin. "Here you go sweetheart."

Nikola rolls his eyes. Everyone in his life seems to be tragically straight.

He needs to find a different bar.

Once the girl leaves Leo eyes the bar and spots a couple of rings, the owner will have a conniption fit if he finds any spots of distress on his precious, He loves the guy but he was definatly on the crazy side.

So, Leo completely unaware of Nikola's distress, grabs the towel and buffs the table; again.

Nikola finishes off the scotch in front of him, sets the empty glass down, stands, and quietly leaves the bar without so much as a backward glance.
