OFA: In the library

Nikola is getting rusty.

But he has a good enough memory that despite the fact that it's been a good twenty years since he sat down at a piano, he's doing a fairly decent job of making his way through Au Claire de la Lune.

He doesn't play well, but he plays with great expression.

That hint of electricity is there, like he's been collecting static. Will gasps, almost inaudibly, then leans forward to return the kiss. Taking significantly more time, he tightens his grip on Nikola's arm.

Nikola smiles against his lips, something dark and deeply satisfied in it. His tongue flicks out over Will's lips.

Will leans into the kiss, chest nearly touching Nikola's. He can feel Nikola's tongue brush his mouth and he shivers deliciously. He's not cold in the slightest.

Parting his lips, Will digs his fingers into Nikola's shirt.

Nikola takes that as an invitation and licks into Will's mouth, his fingers slowly siding into Will's hair, rubbing against his scalp.

Nikola's fingers send tiny shocks through his skull. He might be imagining it, but he doesn't care. Will kisses him back, eagerly welcoming his tongue and reaching up to grab his shoulder and pull him closer.

Nikola presses against him, one arm curling around Will's waist, keeping him in place.

Will raises his other hand to the back of Nikola's head, tasting him as they forget about breathing. It's been awhile since he kissed anyone, and Will's not sure if he's ever kissed anyone with this kind of abandon. He almost feels like he's doing something wrong, and that makes it that much better.

Nikola catches Will's lip in his teeth briefly, cool fingers sliding down Will's neck to rest just over his heart, tapping softly in time with Will's heartbeat. He doesn't at all feel like he's doing something wrong, but he's fairly certain that if Helen were to walk in on them like this, there'd be hell to pay.

And that makes it so much better.

He hasn't done anything like this is public. Nikola's feel like they're leaving marks through Will's t-shirt. Will runs his hand over his neck, feeling the vertebrae beneath his fingers. He can't help wondering if the rest of Nikola's skin is as soft.

Nikola's other hand falls to Will's thigh, fingers sliding along the inseam and moving slowly higher.

Will can't help looking at the door. It's closed.

His jeans are warm and tight, just like his chest and the air in the room. His fingers slip around, starting on the buttons of Nikola's skirt at the bottom. He fumbles at first, then moves quickly.

The hand on Will's chest moves much more slowly as Nikola unbuttons Will's shirt, fingers sliding under the cloth to touch warm skin. He breaks the kiss to bend his head and drag his lips over Will's neck.

Will shivers, unable to help himself. He knows the teeth are there, he can almost convince himself that he feels them. It makes it surreal, but he can't get enough of it. He guides Nikola's shirt free from his shoulders, fascinated by the smooth muscles of his arms.

Nikola's hand stops high on Will's thigh, kneading the muscle gently. Dragging his lips up to Will's ear, he murmurs. "Would you like to continue this here, or should we move somewhere else?"

Vivid images of Magnus, Henry, Ashley and hell, even the Big Guy, walking in on them make Will stop and pull back.

"Move," he says simply, unable to tear his eyes from Nikola's incredibly dark ones. "My room's not bad, there's paper on the bed but--" Nikola's has to be nicer.

"Working rather than sleeping?" Nikola teases, pulling away as well and standing, not bothering to pick up his shirt. "I think my room is closer."

Will reaches down and grabs the shirt before he follows Nikola towards his bedroom. Old quotes, thoughts of the wicked being led to their doom dance through his head but he'd rather be distracted by the way Nikola's trousers cling to his hips.

Nikola smirks, fully aware of Will's scrutiny. When they reach his room, he opens the door for Will. "After you, William."

Will hasn't seen Magnus' bedroom, but he assumes Nikola's view is almost as good. Possibly better. He folds the shirt against his chest and stares out the window.

"Wow," he says simply. "Yours is better."

"The secret is to put up a fuss until she gives you something appropriate," Nikola says, smirking a little as he steps up behind Will. He slides his arms around Will's waist and rests his chin on Will's shoulder.

Surprised by the intimacy, Will wraps his arms over Nikola's and tries not to think too much about the heat between them.

"I might have to remember that," he agrees, then sighs. "Actually, mine is probably appropriate. Strange view of half the city and half the grounds, not high enough to really see everything."

Nikola turns his head to kiss Will's neck again. "You can see enough, I'm sure, for a mind like yours."

Will strokes the back of his hand, surprised by the compliment. "Disjointed, racing and a little too juvenile for my liking?" he teases. It's been improving. He definitely feels less like the idiot and more like he'll catch up, eventually, given centuries.

"Though, I should stop comparing myself to the best."

Nikola chuckles slightly, nuzzling behind Will's ear. "You do well enough. If I thought you were stupid, you wouldn't be here."

Almost chuckling, Will turns in his arms, dropping his hands to Nikola's smooth waist. "That may be the best compliment I've ever been given." He leans closer, kissing his cheek before he shifts to Nikola's lips.
