OFA: In the library

Nikola is getting rusty.

But he has a good enough memory that despite the fact that it's been a good twenty years since he sat down at a piano, he's doing a fairly decent job of making his way through Au Claire de la Lune.

He doesn't play well, but he plays with great expression.

Will hasn't seen Magnus' bedroom, but he assumes Nikola's view is almost as good. Possibly better. He folds the shirt against his chest and stares out the window.

"Wow," he says simply. "Yours is better."

"The secret is to put up a fuss until she gives you something appropriate," Nikola says, smirking a little as he steps up behind Will. He slides his arms around Will's waist and rests his chin on Will's shoulder.

Surprised by the intimacy, Will wraps his arms over Nikola's and tries not to think too much about the heat between them.

"I might have to remember that," he agrees, then sighs. "Actually, mine is probably appropriate. Strange view of half the city and half the grounds, not high enough to really see everything."

Nikola turns his head to kiss Will's neck again. "You can see enough, I'm sure, for a mind like yours."

Will strokes the back of his hand, surprised by the compliment. "Disjointed, racing and a little too juvenile for my liking?" he teases. It's been improving. He definitely feels less like the idiot and more like he'll catch up, eventually, given centuries.

"Though, I should stop comparing myself to the best."

Nikola chuckles slightly, nuzzling behind Will's ear. "You do well enough. If I thought you were stupid, you wouldn't be here."

Almost chuckling, Will turns in his arms, dropping his hands to Nikola's smooth waist. "That may be the best compliment I've ever been given." He leans closer, kissing his cheek before he shifts to Nikola's lips.

Nikola's arm tightens around Will's waist, pulling him closer, pressing their bodies together. His other hand slides slowly up Will's back and into his hair as he returns the kiss.

Knowing the door is safely closed, Will's a little bolder. He parts Nikola's lips with his tongue, then sucks his bottom lip for a moment. His shirt is the last thing between their skin and he's already fantasizing.

Nikola makes quick work of Will's shirt, cool fingers sliding over his chest and down his stomach, hooking into Will's waistband.

Will's fingers work with the catch of Nikola's belt, tugging it free in a long motion. Will's thumb brushes across his hip.

Standing on the heel, Will slips off one shoe, then the other. Then he drops to his knees, running a hand along Nikola's calf as she checks his shoes.

Nikola can't help smirking at the sight of Will on his knees. His fingers slide through Will's hair almost fondly.

Will unties the laces of Nikola's shoes and looks up. He likes the smirk. He doesn't quite understand why, but he almost feels safe. Not from Nikola, but from the rest of the world.

He kisses Nikola's firm stomach, just above the waist, as he stands back up. "I don't really know what I'm doing."

"I didn't expect you would," Nikola says. "It's very simple, though. Start with what you know you like, and work from there." He places a hand flat on Will's stomach and starts to push him back toward the bed.

"You're extremely observant. I'm sure you'll do just fine."

Will swallows a laugh. The only thing he can pay attention to is the delicate pattern of dark hair down the middle of Nikola's chest and the small pink nipples on his chest. When his thighs hit the bed, he sits down, hard. There's a little bit of a rush in having something new and a bigger one when he realizes how turned on he is.

Nikola keeps moving forward, climbing onto the bed, knees on either side of Will's legs, straddling them. His hands rest on Will's shoulders lightly, thumbs sliding along his collarbone.

Will leans back, it's hard not to lose his balance on the bed. "You have a better bed too," he observes, shaking his head.

His trousers are hot and tight and knowing Nikola's above him just makes it worse. Reaching for the clasp of Nikola's trousers, he starts easing them off.

"I'm a very old friend, and Helen has a vested interest in keeping me around for a while yet."

Nikola shifts a little to help Will with his trousers, shoving them off completely before pushing Will all the way back onto the bed.

Will stares up, wondering for a second if it's all right to pull Nikola down, and then does it. Pulling the other man's head down to kiss him, Will lets it go a little rough and likes the feel of Nikola's teeth against his lips.

It's more than okay, and Nikola is quite pleased to be a little rough. He rolls his hips against Will's, dragging his fingers slowly down Will's chest, trailing a soft current as they go.

It tickles. Like his whole body just woke up from behind asleep. Will raises his hand to Nikola's shoulders, digging into the flesh before realizing he can feel the current in Nikola's hair.

There's a small spark when Nikola's fingers reach Will's belt buckle, and Nikola groans softly at that, as his fingers quickly work the belt open.

Will's jeans follow quickly afterwards. He feels exposed and entirely vulnerable beneath Nikola's hands. For a moment, it flashes through his head that yes, he could die, right now.

He sits up, kissing the side of Nikola's neck and lets the fear wash over him.

Nikola catches a whiff of something coming off Will and turns his head, burying his nose in Will's neck for just a moment.

When he pulls back, he's laughing. "Christ, you're still afraid of me."

Will flushes and the heat runs all the way down his neck. Apologizing will make him sound like an idiot. "I've never been nearly naked with a part-vampire before. It doesn't mean I don't find you--" He blushes again. "There's a lot of this that's really new to me. I've never been afraid. I've never wanted to be afraid. I haven't wanted to surrender."
